Charles Padley, who has over 30 years' experience in the record industry, is behind 1voice1vision.

Having started his career in retail he moved on to become Marketing/Product Manager for Carlton Home Entertainment Ltd, where he was responsible for the label Carlton Classics. Following this, he became responsible for releasing archival material at the BBC in conjunction with IMG, under the label BBC Legends. On leaving the BBC Charles joined Naxos as their A & R Manager.

It was whilst he was A & R Manager for Naxos that Charles Padley came up with the idea for 1voice 1vision. He felt that there was a need for a repertoire led website whereby young artists and professionals alike could voice their talent and promote it with vision.

In the busy world of a fixer/booker, it is essential that the particular talent he or she is looking for can be found as quickly and efficiently as possible. 1voice 1vision provides a unique search engine whereby a booker will find you by surname, instrument or even by a specific work in your repertoire.
For example a booker looking for a soprano for Handel's Messiah will highlight soprano in the drop down bar and type Handel Messiah in the Keyword section. If it is in your repertoire your name will come up and the booker can read your profile and listen to 3 soundclips of up to 60 seconds long each. If he or she would like to contact you then they will post a message for 1voice 1vision to notify you of their interest.
